Channel Marketing Manager

The Channel Marketing Manager is a key position reporting to the
Vice President of Channel Marketing. You will play the lead role in
developing and executing channel marketing strategies and programs
to grow non-profit, government/utilities, and ACH lines of
business. As a seasoned manager with a proven track record of
success marketing through the channel, you will work closely with
product and sales leaders to establish innovative marketing
programs to both grow market share and boost partner penetration.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following
disciplines: digital demand generation and nurture campaigns,
thought leadership content marketing, events and tradeshow strategy
and management, channel partner penetration campaign design and
execution including the development of sales tools and artifacts to
support partner and internal sales teams, and sales enablement
supporting both direct and indirect channels.
The Channel Marketing Manager must have a have a commanding
understanding of all things channel marketing, showcase integrated
payments expertise, is a big picture thinker with an eye for
detail, focuses on quality that make marketing programs great, has
an ability to grasp and present value propositions in a way that
resonates and clearly articulates how we solve both our partners
and their users problems, is analytical and leverages data to drive
Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and own go-to-market strategy and
tactics for the channels you serve. Develop integrated marketing
plans in collaboration with Sales, Product and Marketing. Launch
new programs and campaign to capture market share.
Channel Partner Enablement/Penetration: Create and deliver
compelling marketing programs, tools, and supporting materials to
optimize partner penetration and help partners drive software
sales. Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities to drive
Sales Enablement (Helping BD Find Net New Business): Support
Business Development and Inside Sales Teams by delivering sales
tools, programs, thought leadership content and marketing materials
to win business. Supports responses to requests for proposals.
Events and Tradeshows: Manage Paya participation at channel events
and tradeshows including event strategy development, pre and
post-show promotion, expo management, SME speaker sessions, lead
generation tracking and attribution.
Content Development/Thought Leadership: Develop compelling thought
leadership, product and marketing content for targeted nurture
campaigns. Work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to implement
and execute. Track and analyze performance with a focus on
influence and attribution.
Payments industry experience
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
7-10 years channel marketing experience supporting high value,
complex, enterprise sales.
5+ years B2B payment industry experience, preferably working with
SaaS-based enterprise software.
Track record of leading channel marketing strategy development and
programs execution with a proven track record of contributing to
Excellence in all the responsibilities listed above.
Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Must be a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with excellent
A proven track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment with multiple competing and sometimes conflicting
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with willingness to dive
deep and interpret complex data.
Exceptional at communicating with senior management as well as with
colleagues from technical and non-technical backgrounds.
