Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer with experience in Client-Server applications, to join our Fusion 360 Data team. This team develops, maintains and supports Data Management services, including Fusion Team, for Autodesk Fusion 360. Autodesk Fusion 360 is next generation CAD application with an ecosystem of Client & Server components, next generation Web client, SDK and a variety of Cloud Services that interact with world leading CAD Products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Scrum team that maintains multiple micro-services that are the foundation for Data for Fusion 360

  • Work with a team of Software Engineers, QA specialists, Software Architects and DevOps

  • Responsible for testing, troubleshooting and debugging features that are developed.

  • Work closely with Experience Design and Product Management teams to understand requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression testing

  • Coordinate with QA members from different scrum teams for events like bug bashes

  • Deliver results that meet product user stories with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Use Development and Project Management tools such as Git, Jira and Wiki

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related degree.

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing

  • Understanding of 3D design and data management workflows

  • Knowledge and experience designing tests, defining test scope and identifying functional and non-functional testing (e.g. performance, availability, stability, security, environment, etc.)

  • Experience with testing tools and testing process in product release cycles

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Keen eye for detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to with colleagues across different time zones

  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using one or more CAD, PDM and PLM applications

  • Experience creating unit test frameworks, automated regressions tests

  • Understanding of CI-CD concepts

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
