NCR is investing to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic even stronger than before! This position will provide product management support for NCR's Large Financial Institution Digital Banking platform. The incumbent will be responsible for the product oversight and roadmap of new and maintenance of existing digital banking solutions and capabilities. This individual will work across all departments of the company including sales, operations, development and marketing to meet our corporate and division financial goals.

The following is a list of key areas of responsibility for which the incumbent will be accountable:

  • Leveraging market analysis, customer input and personal experience to establish product vision, direction and go-to-market strategy
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to make sure products stay competitive.
  • Identifies and validating market opportunities for Growth
  • Validate requested enhancements align to division and product strategies
  • Collaborates with finance and other departments to establish pricing for assigned solutions, capabilities
  • Continually evolve the Mobile Digital Banking strategy related to mobile-specific solutions. Work with other product managers throughout NCR to align NCR D3 mobile strategies and maximize capabilities for US-based financial institutions.
  • Manage product lifecycle for mobile banking. Become the internal and external Mobile Banking SME for NCR D3 and maintain documentation for product features and help communicate those internally and externally. Have an acute SME understanding around mobile SLDC pertaining to operating system updates.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the product roadmap for assigned responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture and CX design to balance innovation vision with practical implementation
  • Document requirements in Epic and Feature stories
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to elaborate Epic and Feature stories into sprintable user stories
  • Provide sales and marketing with information for promoting products and assist with the development of the marketing strategy.
  • Obtain and maintain market knowledge and market perceptions to represent NCR Digital and Banking and LFI as a thought-leadership organization
  • Possess a level of business and technical acumen to:
  • Manage APIs, extensibility framework and user experience
  • Identify and manage key performance indicators that influence product investment decisions
  • Manage product profitability

  • Carry out research to determine customer needs and expectations in order to develop new products.
  • Provide direction and assist in the prioritization of product backlog requirements based upon the needs of the market, our customers and internal resources.
  • As needed, document business requirements per the company's software development tools and methodology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science
  • Prior experience working for a Financial Institution or a banking software provider
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to build strong, trusting relationships
  • Proven experience in a Product Manager or similar role
  • 5 - 7 years banking and product management experience
  • Knowledge of mobile banking and best practices for mobile financial services solutions
  • Strong understanding of financial services
  • Ability to simplify the complex requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead by influence across teams
  • Familiarity with Agile framework
  • Problem-solving aptitude & creative thinking skills
