Senior Client Executive - Rural Sourcing Inc. (RSI)

In order to successfully sell in our arena, you must be a solution-centric sales professional who can both hunt, retain and grow client accounts. You must be a sophisticated team-based collaborative sales professional. This is a team-based sale and team-based account management environment, and one where the Client Executive plays a leadership role in driving revenue from new logo acquisition to new deals in existing accounts and renewals. End-to-end account ownership operating within an agile, pragmatic, but disciplined sales/account management framework and process.

A Day in the Life of an RSI Senior Client Executive (CE):

Responsible for selling RSI's services. This person will lead the sales strategy and drive the pursuit while working closely with the Sales Engineering team, RVP-Sales, the Executive Team (CEO, CRO, CCO, CMO, COO), and our Delivery Team Leads. We are seeking sales professionals who want to work in a high-performing culture and an environment that is collaborative, creative, and client-centric.

  • Develop new clients to expand client base, gain market share, and grow the company.
  • Identify new leads and opportunities for the company.
  • Build and manage sales pipeline from lead generation through contract negotiations.
  • Spend high percentage of time engaging with sales activities such as prospecting, managing request for proposal information, MSA and SOW contract negotiation, client meetings and presentations, and sales forecast administration.

Expertise an RSI Colleague will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10 + years prior experience selling Custom Software Development Services, IT Services, or IT Outsourcing solutions with some IT staffing in a professional services environment considered as well.
  • Proven skills selling to C-level officers and senior leaders in IT (CIO, CTO, VP and/or Director of Software Development).
  • Outstanding track record of success in achieving metrics and quotas as an individual contributor in a direct sales environment.
  • Prior experience working out of a home office covering a multi-state region.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of custom application development such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google), QA & Testing, business intelligence & reporting, business processes, Application Security, etc.
  • Understanding of the IT consulting industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong self-motivation and independent work skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality and professional service.
