This position is responsible for driving company standards, ensuring consistent execution of Aaron's programs and integrating newly acquired teams to the Aaron's structure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify underperforming markets based on Company goals and work with RMs and GMs to drive and increase performance.
  • Identify and eliminate root cause of unsuccessful processes and train staff on how to execute properly.
  • Work with MULs and GMs to implement new processes and programs when they are developed by training staff and following up to ensure long-term success.
  • Serve as a key resource for DVP/SVP to assist with operations in low performing stores and regions.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's / Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience to include, but not limited to, retail operations

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Aaron's operational standards and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Clearly define and manage engagements, to include: statement of work, project plan and success metrics
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Extremely flexible with the ability to easily shift priorities with a can-do attitude in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Available to travel 90% of the time, sometimes with limited notice
  • Time management - Demonstrates efficiency and persistence, managing own time and ensuring engagement deadlines and objectives are met
  • Communication - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This includes the ability to describe or explain complex processes and issues in a concise manner
  • Critical thinking - Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
  • Persuasion and collaboration - Nurtures and builds effective partnerships with clients to achieve results; team player, comfortable working on multiple teams/projects simultaneously and independently, as needed
