About the Role:

The Patient Support Services Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the call center that supports a number of Pediatric, General, Oral Surgery, and Orthodontic dental offices in the Southeast. The Patient Support Services Manager will provide customer service and support between the patients and multi-level offices ensuring goals are being met while developing and implementing new strategies to ensure goals are continually met.

Eligibility Requirements

* AA in Business or related field or equivalent experience * Five to seven years of progressively responsible supervisory/management service * Experience within health care services industry with demonstrated success in health care or related field including supervisory, production driven, reporting, and project management * Excellent problem-solving skills; ability analyze difficult problems and develop feasible and effective solutions. * Proven track record of driving operational performance outcomes, including production targets and customer goals. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to make presentations to audiences of varying levels and backgrounds. * Skilled in effectively engaging management level staff, employees, and stakeholders in order to build partnerships, achieve operational and organizational goals * Solid customer focus and should be able to operate well in teams. * Mentoring and coaching management level staff by providing open and honest feedback that results in enhanced performance outcome

* Maintain good relationship with office staff, and vendor contacts, that we service and/or partner with * Excellent Communication and Customer services skills * Responsible for identifying trends while scheduling appointments, that require escalation up to prevent them from continue to occur. * Ability to work on multi-line phone systems, to handle multiple callers/patients at a given time * Can handle high call volumes * Ability to maintain confidentiality with all of PHI, HIPPA, patient and company-related information. * Completes work within authorized time to assure compliance with departmental standards. * Demonstrates knowledge of, and supports, the practices and companys mission, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethics. * Reinforce Company Culture and Values; by creating a customer experience of the highest quality. * The job description provides a framework for the job, other duties may be assigned as necessary

Work Environment

This job operates in a centralized call center office, representing practices in the Southeast. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

* This is primarily a sedentary role, where most of the work is performed sitting at a desk majority of the day and answering phones. * The physical demand described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
