Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

The Inside Sales Representative will be an integral member of Collaborative Solutions' Industry sales team, focused on Higher Education, Government, Healthcare, Banking and Financial Services and Insurance. The right person for this role must be an engaging communicator as the role is highly visible and will be on the frontline interacting directly with potential customers, internal Collaborative resources, and our sales team. This high activity focused position is responsible for generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads, and as such, requires superb organizational and relationship management skills. Responsibilities:

  • Executing successfully against sales prospecting goals including calls out, customers contacted, next steps, leads generated, salesforce opportunities created

  • Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to develop and qualify leads for opportunity development

  • Nurture warm lead opportunities through outbound campaigns

  • Research companies/prospective clients, research and compile data from LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

  • Prepare account plans and create prospecting campaigns

  • Assist with ad hoc lead generation initiatives as needed

  • Assist with pipeline development by researching new accounts

  • Utilize Salesforce.com and Hubspot to document outbound activity, upload contacts from lead generation initiatives and generate reports

  • Maintain data quality on account records in SFDC

  • Track employee movement in Customer accounts to generate new account leads

  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns

  • Schedule prospect meetings

  • Achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities

  • Develop knowledge/experience/expertise within Collaborative's focus areas and products/services

Skills & Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a pre-sales or lead development role

  • The ability to digest and articulate the value proposition of Collaborative Solutions and its software partners

  • Highly competent in Salesforce.com

  • Highly organized with exceptional interpersonal skills

  • The ability to communicate effectively and clearly by telephone and email

  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Bonus Skills:

  • HubSpot experience a plus

  • Past Professional Services / Consulting experience a plus

  • 1-3 years consulting experience a plus

  • Experience within Higher Education and/or Government a plus
