Located in major cities and tourism destinations around the world, these custom-designed venues, or "Illuminariums," will surround visitors in a 360x360 sensory experience, using advanced laser projection mapping and sound systems to transport guests to places they may never otherwise visit: the world's best safari, an expedition to Mars, or even a trip back in time to visit ancient civilizations. After hours, Illuminariums will transform into unique spaces for corporate and private events, as well as immersive club/bar experiences on the weekends. As museums are to art, cinemas are to movies, Illuminariums are to experiential entertainment. Not only an Attraction, Illuminarium Atlanta is a unique destination for events; theaters are complemented by a Caf and Patio with combined seating for over 140 guests, serving content inspired food and beverage offerings.


The Venue Coordinator is the integral connector between the Food & Beverage, Operations and Sales team. As a member of the Food & Beverage team, this role supports the Executive Chef with processing tasks including invoicing and inventory, while translating bookings from the Event Sales team into operational tasks. The Coordinator oversees the execution of all events and is the main point of contact during the event, promptly and proactively addressing any and all issues.


  • Support the events and F&B team with ongoing administrative tasks including inventory, purchasing and financial planning
  • Support the Executive Chef with reporting, invoicing and purchase management and ongoing administrative needs
  • Support the Events Manager with the execution of events at Illuminarium Atlanta, coordinating with the Operations team during the event, and proactively and promptly addressing any and all issues
  • Liaise with Illuminarium team, internal and external catering providers and vendors to plan and execute client events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients welcoming them at the start, supporting them during and concluding the final invoicing at the end of the event
  • Manage event financials, including the management of event balance as well as final bill payments at the end of the event; provide client with their final invoice and receive payment.
  • During office task manage the reception desk screening phone calls and route calls to the appropriate party
  • Anticipate the needs of others to ensure a seamless and positive experience
  • Perform other assignments/functions as required


To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Associate's Degree in related field
  • Prior proven administrative and event operations experience preferably in Atlanta
  • Experienced in delivering high quality, smooth running events in small to medium scale locations
  • Aims to please while meeting operational productivity, revenue and profit targets
  • Working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations, and events operations & standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively evaluate risks and liabilities of special events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior cash handling experience and POS operations
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, database, CRM and word processing programs
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations including but not limited to Legends' COVID Preparedness Plan and Standard Operating Procedures, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
  • Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
  • Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company's risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
