recommend our services to others. The PCS role includes offering
patient intake interviews, financial screenings and registering for
Ryan White and AIDs Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) services.
Ensuring that appropriate documentation for patient eligibility is
filed and entered into our computer database.
duties of accurately collecting new patient medical history,
determining what tests/screenings are due during medical visits,
taking patient vitals and documenting all patient health-related
complaints, this position has the opportunity to provide excellent
patient centered care.
communicating with patients between provider visits for condition
updates, and follow through on test/procedures ordered by
providers, the PCS2 can help ensure the patient is receiving the
highest quality of care.
manages the referral process by processing specialty referrals in
the most timely and accurate manner to optimize care and to address
clinical needs; providing all pertinent information to patients for
timely appointment scheduling; assisting with appointment
scheduling as patients require; and obtaining specialist consults
and scanning into the patent’s EMR to provide the most complete
picture of a patient’s clinical condition. The PCS2 will track and
monitor the status and progress of the referral being completed.
