Work Hours: Full-time- 6:30a-7p-- Thursday - SaturdayJOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages human and material resources in a team environment under the leadership of the Patient Access Manager & Central Administration to provide real-time supervision of appointment specialists responsible for call answering, appointment setting and messaging services according to established clinical protocols; ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction each and every time.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field or appropriate combination of education and experience.
    • 1 - 2 years experience in customer service and/or call centers, preferably in a healthcare setting. OR Graduation from the Operations Development Program (ODP).
    • Minimum requirement of 1 year of supervisory experience. Healthcare or customer service industry experience preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Professional, caring approach, strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
    • Position will require the ability to type or keyboard 55 accurate words per minute.
    • Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to relate to a wide variety of customers.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium Max 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
