Job title Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Reports to (Clinically) Clinical Program Specialist, Clinical Case Manager, Assistant Clinical Case Manager Reports to (Administratively) Office Manager Clinical Supervises New Hires, Interns Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Job purpose The position of registered behavior technician is to provide high quality 1:1 applied behavior analytic therapy to individuals on the autism spectrum ages 18 months to 21 years. Duties and responsibilities Assessing Prospective and Current Clients Assist in conducting skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments under the supervision of a case manager Client on-boarding Conduct baseline assessments during follow-up sessions prior to client on-boarding as directed by case manager Client Treatment and Programming Provide 1:1 direct client care utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and naturalistic environment training Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as designed by case manager and trained by case manager or cps Follow and record data for prescribed toilet training, function living, adaptive, and desensitization protocols Collect, record, and summarize data for observable client behavior Under the supervision of the case manager and cps, update and maintain data collection systems and disseminate information to the team Write and submit a clinic note by the end of every session Write and provide a parent note for each session Ongoing training and development Accept, apply, and provide positive and constructive feedback regarding clinical and professional skills on a regular basis Attend on-going staff education and training on client behavioral and skill acquisition protocols through case management, staff development, and morning meetings Complete assigned readings and objectives Clinical maintenance and organization Facilitate day-to-day operations of the team by ensuring that all necessary paperwork, materials, scheduling, and documentation are up-to-date Training of others Assist with caregiver training under supervision of case manager and cps pertaining to client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols Professional Communication Effectively communicate with caregivers regarding client progress as directed by case managers and cps Maintain positive relationship with parents, client, and team members Communicate questions and concerns to the appropriate individual following communication policies Ethical Compliance Maintain client confidentiality and abide by regulations of HIPAA Comply with the professional and ethical compliance code for RBTs Utilize safe and appropriate prompts and guiding procedures when working with clients Implement MCPP strategies with fidelity Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment Working conditions This position is an hourly position. Hours of operations for the center are 8:00-5:30 Physical requirements The position requires the individual to be able to lift 30 assisted or unassisted without complications. Approved by: William E.
