JOB SUMMARY:
The incumbent will serve as a team member performing intelligence
and national security activities with responsibility for difficult
assignments in areas of responsibility. The employee has increased
responsibility for analyzing non-U.S. citizen access request trends
and associated risk; required to project data for estimates of
future situations and further identifying and recommending risk
mitigation measures to senior leadership.
DUTIES:
As a Intelligence Research Specialist (NCAMS), you will: Develop
and Implement Counterintelligence/Insider Threat Program Policy
Serve as a team member of a counterintelligence/insider threat
program directed towards the protection of personnel, facilities,
and assets within a specifically-defined area. Implement
intelligence policy for a regional office and/or subordinate field
locations. Responsible for providing guidance to junior members of
the team and further responsible for advising senior Agency
leadership related to specific intelligence threats to the Agency.
Coordinate a variety of sensitive and complex tasks encompassing
the entire spectrum of the intelligence.
REQUIREMENTS:
US Citizenship is required. Background Investigation is required.

Promotion to the next grade level is at management's discretion and

position: No Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI
Security Clearance - Special Sensitive (SS)/High Risk. May be
required to work rotating shifts. Physical is required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have at least one year of
specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal
service as defined in the next paragraph. Specialized experience is
experience which is directly related to the position which has
equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and
abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position
to include experience in assisting in researching and analyzing
classified intelligence and/or sensitive information from open
sources for activities that could adversely affect the nation's
public health or public health infrastructure and global health
initiatives. OR
Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three full years of
progressively higher level graduate education leading to a degree
or LL.M. if related. ORHave a combination of graduate level
education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification
requirements for this position.

equipment, and methods to work situations.
