Job Description:

The Sr.Talent Acquisition Coordinator reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The Sr.Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the hiring process, from collaborating on writing job descriptions to submitting reports on the recruitment process. They act as the SME and main point of contact for ATS requests. They also facilitate and oversee special projects assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition. A successful Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator should be well-versed in the recruitment processes as well as relevant employment legislation. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Coordinator should be organized and have excellent communication and people skills. This position works in partnership with department leaders, vendors and HR Partners. This position also works closely with the HRIS Administrator, Payroll and the HR Project Managers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Oversee the full life cycle recruiting process in partnership with department leaders for exempt and non-exempt positions to include posting positions, evaluating and screening resumes, coordinating interviews, conducting background checks and extending offers. * Collaborate with hiring manager to write job descriptions and submit for FLSA approval. * Act as SME and main point of contact for ATS requests * Oversee and facilitate special projects assigned by the Director of Talent Acquisition * Compile recruitment reports for the HR organization (Reports include: active reqs, Texas attrition, census, job titles, MVRs, etc) * Ensure all aspects of recruitment process comply with employment laws. * Ensure department leaders are compliant with established recruitment processes and policies. * Oversee the company-wide applicant tracking system to include set up of user accounts; password reset requests; approving job requisitions, posting positions; ensuring proper processing of applicants to include reviewing background records, approving offers; and providing technical support to both hiring managers and candidates * Participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, preparing documents and gathering information from qualified candidates. * Research and evaluate interview and assessment tools. * Research and develop cost-effective recruitment strategies based on business and departmental goals and needs analysis; may include management of third party vendors and assisting with the development of contacts with educational institutions, minority owned agencies, employment agencies, placement firms, workforce centers and other local organizations in an effort source a diverse pool of qualified candidates * Lead the on-boarding of new hires including coordinating first day details with hiring leaders and IT as well as hosting new hire orientation. * Audits: SOC2 Audits -and a variety of internal audits at the request of Senior Leadership. * Provide assistance with Employee Verification Letters for sites that do not have an HR manager. * Process recruiting invoices that are billed to the Company. * May perform other duties as needed POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or a related field preferred; or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge * Minimum of three (3) years Human Resources related experience * A valid driver's license and the ability to travel if needed SKILLS & ABILITIES Computer Skills * Working knowledge of HRIS and Recruiting software applications required * Strong aptitude for learning new systems * Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite required * Knowledge of technology, including hardware and software applications used in the Human Resources function Competency Statement(s) * Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in the English language * Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of recruiting and excellent interpersonal skills * Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and policies within the HR field * Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize, utilizing a sense of urgency * Ability to influence decisions without direct authority * Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals * The ability to research and analyze various types of data information * Ability to organize and prioritize work * Excellent time management and organizational skills are required * Strong multi-tasking skills are a must * Must have the ability to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law * Exhibit calm responsiveness to stressful situations and maintain strict confidentiality * Must work well in a team environment and be able to work with a diverse group of people * Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and initiative * Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem * Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word * Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely * Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures. * Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures. * Interpersonal - Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals. * Management Skills - Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise others. * Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems * Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers * Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
