About the Role:
Everest Insurance, a member of Everest Global Services, is
seeking a Head of Property Pricing to join the Insurance Actuarial
Lead the Everest Insurance pricing and modeling support for all
property and marine classes. Specific areas include: Pricing (both
attritional and cat)
Portfolio Studies (e.g. Segmentation analysis)
Develop solutions that consider all global exposures and improve
data capture, automation and reporting (e.g. BI dashboards) as well
as the overall accuracy of our pricing and modeling.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver
Coordinate with international teams to ensure global
Provide training to the underwriting teams.
Manage a team of actuaries and cat modelers.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in the property-casualty
Industry certifications and designations including FCAS or
Previous pricing and/or modeling experience.
Passion to learn, experiment, and grow within the organization.
Candidate must be a self-starter that enjoys managing multiple
projects and actively seeking solutions to issues that arise in
Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and ability
to learn concepts and software tools quickly.
Very strong written and communication skills that cover
experience communicating with analytical stakeholders as well as
Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline preferred,
including but not limited to Actuarial Science, Mathematics,
Statistics, or Computer Science.
Experience with SQL, VBA, R, Python or other programming
languages is a plus.
