Job Description Job Description Momar is looking for a Junior
Batcher! Momar, Inc., a privately owned, specialty chemical
manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Junior
Batcher to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Batching
Supervisor, the Junior Batcher is responsible for mixing raw
materials and producing finished products in accordance with
batching sheets, standard operating procedures (SOP's), and safety
guidelines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate in the
timely completion of all paperwork and batching documentation.
Operate various equipment such as tanks, mixers, scales, meters,
pumps, etc. Assist in cleaning equipment, tanks, and vessels as
required. Adhere to safety procedures and SOPs established by the
company. Support the transfer of finished product into drums,
totes, and storage tanks to fulfill orders. Responsible for the
weighing the correct chemicals and sampling finished product to the
Quality Lab for approval. Perform other duties and special projects
as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able
to read and understand written and oral instructions and training
materials. Must be able to wear required PPE and adhere to safety
protocols. Self-motivated with ability to work independently and
make decisions without supervision. Strong organizational skills
and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and handle multiple
tasks and responsibilities. Education and Experience: High school
diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of related experience is
highly preferred. Operation of a forklift and/or heavy machinery is
required. Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift and/or
move 50 lbs. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and
fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop,
bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. Able to perform job
tasks in sometimes dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions.
