Job Description:
Job Description Job Description We are seeking a motivated and
efficient OTR Driver with approximately 2 years of experience who
thrives in a fast-paced, drop-and-hook environment. This position
is ideal for a driver who prefers to maximize drive time by
primarily swapping pre-loaded trailers at our terminals and
customer sites, minimizing waiting for live loads and unloads. You
will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of
freight across long distances, operating a sleeper cab for extended
periods. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a Class A commercial
vehicle, primarily executing drop-and-hook assignments to ensure
optimal efficiency and reduced detention time. Perform trailer
swaps at designated terminals and customer yards, ensuring proper
coupling/uncoupling and completing necessary inspections. Plan
routes and maintain strict compliance with Hours of Service (HOS)
and all DOT regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and
post-trip inspections of both tractor and trailer. Maintain
accurate electronic logs (ELD), documentation, and communications.
Uphold a strong safety record with no major preventable accidents.
Qualifications & Experience: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's
License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years of recent OTR driving experience.
Proven experience with and understanding of drop-and-hook
operations is a plus. Clean driving record and commitment to safety
protocols. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and
background check. Self-sufficient, dependable, and able to work
independently for extended periods. Must be able to safely handle
coupling/uncoupling and securing trailers. We Offer: Competitive
