Atlanta, GA | Hybrid AmLaw 50 Firm | 2000 Billable Hour Target An AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Corporate practice in Atlanta. This role is well-suited for an attorney with transactional experience focused on mergers and acquisitions who is interested in sophisticated deal work within a collaborative national corporate platform. The Role The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures. The role involves active participation in deal teams and responsibility for key aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing. Associates in the group are given meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to clients while working on complex, high-value transactions. Ideal Background 3–6 years of corporate transactional experience Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures Experience participating as a key member of deal teams and assisting in running transaction processes Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills Experience interacting directly with clients preferred Some exposure to securities matters beneficial but not required Admitted in Georgia or eligible to waive in Why This Opportunity National corporate platform within an AmLaw 50 firm Sophisticated M&A transactions and active deal flow Lean deal teams with strong partner and client interaction Hybrid flexibility in the Atlanta office 2000 billable hour target Compensation range: $260,000 – $350,000 depending on experience and qualifications Confidential Inquiries All inquiries will be handled with strict confidentiality.
