Job Description:

Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we're looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You'll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Responsibilities:

--- Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
--- Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
--- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
--- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
--- Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
--- Conduct Attorney Engagement Meetings with clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to meet Estate Planning needs
--- Show compassion when interacting with clients to earn their trust and build confidence
--- Educate the client and answer questions to ensure understanding of the plan
--- Update the CRM system with meeting or call details on every interaction
--- Seek opportunities for continuous learning to keep up to date with legal issues affecting our areas of practice

Qualifications:

--- Candidates must have passed the bar exam
--- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
--- Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
--- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
--- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
--- Must be licensed to practice in Georgia
--- Extraordinary presentation and client experience skills (Required)
--- Track record of success with increasing responsibilities
