This is a contract to perm opportunity here in Atlanta. Must be

Position Identification: Position Title: User Experience / User
Interface Designer II. Position Overview: Experience / User
Interface Designer. We are looking for a technologist who will:
Work with the creative team to extend their vision to NCFs
technology platforms (website, web portal, mobile experiences and
internal systems) Recommend improvements to the creative team to
enhance NCFs digital experiences Combine creativity with an
awareness of design elements and NCF brand standards Deliver within
an agile framework, focused on speed, flexibility and iterative
results Test and optimize NCFs user interface designs to deliver
intuitive and user-centered solutions Gather technical and business
requirements from internal stakeholders and external audiences to
understand their goals, objectives, usage behaviors, etc. Conduct
ongoing user research Create prototypes for new ideas such as page
elements, site navigation, site responsiveness, mobile experiences,
etc. III. Additional Functions: 1. Vendor Management a. Engages
with vendors as needed 2. Documentation a. Creates documentation as
needed; especially when updating designs or user interfaces. 3.
Personal, Spiritual and Professional Development a. Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
seminars, workshops, reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks and participating in professional
societies. b. Demonstrates a commitment to personal, spiritual and
professional maturity. 4. Demonstrating Biblical Principles a.
Actively integrates biblical principles in day-to-day behavior,
exhibiting unremitting integrity and strong moral character. 5.
Travel a. Limited travel. IV. Requirements and qualifications 5
years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role Agile
mindset/methodology (sprints, scrum, etc.) A proven track record,
including the ability to provide a UI design portfolio Bachelors
degree in relevant field Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills with the ability to discuss and explain design options A
detail oriented, critical thinker who can solve problems with a
customer-centric view Knowledge of Adobe products including
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver 5 years
of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction and Responsive
Design V. Leadership/Functional Competencies a. Able to perform
duties independently under general supervision. b. Maintains
sensitivity concerning business, donor, and affiliate confidential
matters. c. Ability to tailor communication style to suit specific
audiences. d. Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities
as appropriate or as directed. e. Strong attention to detail. f.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and follow office
procedures. g. Organized. This position requires the ability to
compile and maintain reports on outstanding issues. h. Remain calm
under pressure. The ability to communicate effectively orally and

work effectively in a team environment. k. Self-motivated. l.
Excellent time management skills. m. Remain calm under pressure.
This position can occasionally demand the ability to produce great
results under time constraints and special circumstances. n. Adapt

UI/UX designer is accountable to the Director, Software Product
Development, with a strong dotted-line relationship with the

Supervision: This position has no direct reports. X. Work
Environment: Physical Demands: a. Nature of work requires an
ability to operate standard business office equipment. b. Work
performed in a general office environment with low humming of PC
equipment. c. Requires ability to communicate and exchange
information, collects, compiles, compares and prepares work
documents, set-up and maintain work files.
