RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in the Greater Atlanta, Georgia (GA) area looking for a SharePoint Developer. This role will be part of a team of software developers responsible for building and maintaining global corporate tools to support various teams throughout the organization using the SharePoint platform. This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.
Core Duties:* Build, maintain, and support custom applications in the SharePoint platform* Develop custom features to be used in team sites* Automate maintenance, deployment, and monitoring tasks within the SharePoint platform* Integrate external data from other applications/platforms into SharePoint* Communicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutions* Work on projects from specification gathering, to development, to QA, user acceptance testing, and deployment to production* Participate in meetings and organize work and/or training sessions around new software being introduced into the company technology environmentREQUIREMENTS:* BS degree preferably in CS or EE, or a related discipline* 5 years of experience doing professional software development in SharePoint* Teamwork: Works well with teammates locally and at remote offices; shares knowledge and is seen as someone to go to for help; contributes in weekly peer meetings* Problem solving and decision making: Demonstrates a sense of urgency; takes ownership of problems and follows temporary fixes with permanent solution; finds creative solutions; Improves processes and introduces superior technology* Communication: Is clear and accurate in verbal and written communication; listens to peers and supported employees; follows directions and provides useful feedback* Professionalism: Makes a positive impression in person, via phone, and electronically; Models a 'can-do' attitude; embraces additional responsibility; Refrains from office gossip or conflict; Works extra hours as-needed to ensure work is complete; Adheres to corporate policy and encourages others to do the sameExceptional Performer Competencies:* Enhances team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and developing and implementing best practices* Takes initiative to continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skillsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
