development of people and the overall success of deliveries
including analysis and design, development, deployment,
optimization, and day to day operations. The role can be broken

Responsibilities:Lead development teams through all phases of the
Agile development life cycle Coach & mentor junior talentInfluence
and collaborate with software developers, UX designers, product
managers, application architects, and customer application experts
to create amazing apps Ensure compliance with architecture,
security and technology standards set by SynchronyParticipate in
addressing root cause analyses, incident reports and provide
direction in problem resolution Ability to analyze production
defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, and implement
fixes Provide 24×7 on-call support periodically throughout the
yearIdentify ways to increase efficiency and improve system
performance Work with third party vendors to develop software
and/or integrate their software into Synchrony’s products
Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5
years in full stack development with a strong focus on JavaScript
(ReactJS in particular) OR, in lieu of degree, High School
Diploma/GED with 7 years of experience in the same.Ability and
flexibility to travel for business as requiredDesired
Characteristics:Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and
best practices Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to
achieve organizational goals Advanced knowledge of application,
data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines Proficiency in
TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, Tailwind CSS, & Unit Testing
frameworksLive and breathe testing Extremely self-driven and can
work autonomously A desire to be in the FinTech space Good to Have
Cypress e2e Implementation.Good to Have understand Accessibility,
Analytics Implementation.Grade/Level: 10 The salary range for this
position is 100,000.00 – 170,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for
an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.Actual
compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based
upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.Salaries are
adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and
Seattle.Eligibility Requirements:You must be 18 years or olderYou
must have a high school diploma or equivalentYou must be willing to
take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit
fingerprints as part of the onboarding processYou must be able to
satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit
Insurance Act.New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of
continuous service with the company before they are eligible to
post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position
requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’
time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.
Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time
in position before they can post. All internal employees must
consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from
your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you
don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).Legal
