Job Description:
Cox Automotive is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Senior
Manager to oversee the strategic implementation and management of
data governance frameworks within our IT and Data Management
department. This role focuses on enhancing the accuracy, integrity,
and dissemination of data critical to the operational success and
innovation in the automotive sector. As a leader in automotive
services, Cox Automotive requires advanced data management
strategies to support decision-making, compliance, and enhanced
operational efficiencies across our spectrum of services ranging
from manufacturing support to customer fulfillment. This pivotal
role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and
strategic thinking to ensure our data assets are systematically
managed and aligned with our overarching goals. Develop and
implement comprehensive data governance policies and procedures.
Lead cross-functional teams to set and enforce data standards,
quality, and processes. Monitor data management metrics and
compliance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with IT
leaders to integrate data governance into the overall technology
strategy. Facilitate training and development programs on data
management best practices. Manage relationships with key internal
stakeholders and external vendors to improve data capabilities.
Assess and oversee the use of data-related tools and platforms to
ensure they meet business needs. Strong leadership and team
management skills. Expertise in data governance frameworks and data
quality standards. Proficient in data management software and
tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project
management skills. Ability to articulate complex data-related
concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Medical Insurance Dental
