The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining our Defi system, implementing risk strategies, and ensuring that the system configurations align with our business needs.Responsibilities:Design, configure, implement, and maintain lending rules and policies in our loan origination systemImplement risk strategies within the Defi system.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that risk strategies align with business needsTroubleshoot and resolve system configuration and risk strategy issues.Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for optimization.Document system configurations, risk strategies, and processes for future reference.Stay current with emerging technologies and trends related to system configuration and risk strategy implementation.Requirements:Bachelor s degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar.A minimum of 2 years of industry experience in a consumer lending company such as mortgage lending, automotive lending/lease, or consumer credit originationsA minimum of 2 years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing lending rules, lending tolerances, lending stipulations, and lending decision automationStrong experience in SQL including joins, inserts, updates, deletes, conditional logic, subqueries, temp tables, and complex data transformation functions, including creating and modifying macros, functions, stored procedures/using SQL coding and Database systems requiredStrong experience with Python/JavaScript is requiredSpecific experience with one of the following Loan Origination systems is nice to have:Fiserv LOS, DEFI LOS, DEFI XLOS, Open Rules Systems APM, ARGO Systems LOS, CMSI originate, Provenir LOS, TCI Decision Lender, FICO Decision Modeler, or Pega SystemsFollows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail & Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
