DescriptionQAD is seeking a Software Engineer QA to develop and
execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure QAD product
quality. This Quality Analyst will be working in the R&D
Foundation group, which is responsible for foundation software of
QAD's Cloud ERP solution.QA engineer responsibilities include
designing, implementing and executing test cases, analyzing issues
and defining corrective actions. You will also review system
requirements to understand QAD products and track quality assurance
metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)The QA
technician role plays an important part in our company's product
development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for
conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs
smoothly and meets client needs. If you hold an engineering
background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software
quality problems, we'd like to meet you.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or
related
- 3 to 5 years of testing experience, web testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools, concepts and
methodologies of QA Programming experience is a plus
- Experience with an automated testing tool (Selenium,
TestComplete, etc.)
- Good communication / documentation skills
- Able to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to product
changes
- Experience in working with global teams preferred, multiple
products, multiple release environments desirableAdditional
