Your Role and Responsibilities The Business Automation Expert Labs team is comprised of deep subject matter experts covering the entire product portfolio, from content and capture to workflow and rules. Consultants work directly with clients in joint projects to deliver new or enhanced solutions to ensure our clients realize value from their investment in IBM software. They also maintain and enhance our internal set of tools, making sure they meet our clients ever changing needs and desires. We are now looking to expand our team with a Solution Developer focusing on the content and capture part of our portfolio. The role is an experienced consultant who takes part in developing custom applications that leverage the IBM CloudPak for Business Automation platform (FileNet/BACS, Datacap and ADP). You will work within an IBM project team, leveraging product APIs and capabilities to design, specify, and implement software solutions to meet client's requirements. Maintenance and further enhancement of some of our flagship tools in the capture and migration space will also be part of the responsibilities. In this role, you have ample room for growth, as you will be asked to take leadership roles in increasingly large and complex projects. Solution Developers are responsible for designing, developing and/or re-engineering application components and integrating software packages, programs and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. You will work using C#, Java- and JavaScript-based application programming interfaces of IBM FileNet P8, BACS, ICN and Datacap, as well as other associated components. You will apply the basic principles of agile software development; enforce current software development standards and practices; contribute to architectural/infrastructure analysis and improvement efforts; and work within a project team (e.g., Project Manager, Solution Architect, Business Analyst). Your work is guided by a clear understanding of the business value of the solution as well as frequent interaction with the intended end users. Candidates need to be located in of these locations--Boston, MA, New York,NY, Yorktown, NY, Raleigh,NC Austin,TX, San Jose, CA , Costa Mesa, CA, , Atlanta, GA, Required Technical and Professional Expertise Bachelor's Degree --preferably in computer science At least 2 year experience developing applications on IBM Datacap Content Manager and/or FileNet P8 FileNet. At least 2 year experience in client side UI technologies (e.g., HTML,CSS, Ajax, Dojo/React, Javascript). At least 2 year experience in database access technologies (e.g., DB2, SQL). At least 1 year experience in analysis phase activities (discussing business needs with customers and translating to technical capabilities and requirements, etc.). At least 3 year experience in C# and Java development. English: Fluent, strong communicator. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Master's Degree, preferably in Computer Science. At least 3 years experience developing applications on IBM Datacap, Content Manager and/or FileNet P8 FileNet. At least 3 year experience in client side UI technologies (e.g., HTML,CSS, Ajax, Dojo/React, Javascript). At least 3 year experience in database access technologies (e.g., DB2, SQL). At least 3 year experience in analysis phase activities (discussing business needs with customers and translating to technical capabilities and requirements, etc.). At least 3 year experience in C# and Java development. At least 2 year experience developing applications using FileNet APIs. At least 3 years experience from client facing roles. CP4BA or FileNet product certification.
