Department:--R&D - Critical CommunicationsReports to: Vice President, EngineeringLocation:--Atlanta, GA?Job SummaryAs a--Technical Manager, you--will be responsible for leading a team of technology professionals to build various mobile solutions and front-end/UI solutions that focuses on customer satisfaction. We are seeking a team leader and technology expert to drive the success of our platform.Responsibilities* Lead software engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical direction of OnSolve software solutions.* Customer-obsessed and results-driven management delivering on product roadmap commitments.* Architect/design solutions independently or collaboratively with Enterprise Architects that drive high-throughput Cloud and mobile applications.* Design and implement new mobile applications and front-end interfaces while simultaneously well maintaining existing applications.* Drive engineering and operational excellence initiatives (continuous delivery in a DevOps environment, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives).* Mentor high-performing engineers and be an inspirational role model.* Collaborate continuously with Program Managers, Software Engineering and our business users to define KPIs and measure reliability, availability, health, and performance of our services including internal services and external integrations.* Train, mentor and be an inspirational role model to engineering teams so that we grow quality- and performance-focused team members.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications* B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience* Minimum of 8 years of experience as a software engineer and minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Lead* 5+ years of experience designing and building mobile applications for enterprise-scale solutions* 3+ years of experience designing and building web applications with focus on user interface* Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on Apple and/or Android App stores* Experience with React/React Native, CSS Styling, Java and/or C#, Bootstrap, JavaScript with Node.js or SPA Frameworks* Experience with SQL databases such as Aurora, SQL Server, Oracle* Experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Ansible* Demonstrable knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP Top 10* Scaled agile development methodologies in a distributed work environment* Proven experience in diverse technologies and technical challenges, in services development and systems engineering* Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices* Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs to connect to back-end services* Demonstrated ability of driving complex problems and reaching consensus across teams* Excellent communicator with both technical and non-technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications* Experience delivering SaaS products via a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure & Google)* Experience working with working with offshore teamsOnSolve is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer.--All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other status protected by law.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
