Overview

The Benefits, Payroll & Mobility Solutions (BPMS) team exists to attract, retain, and retire top talent by providing a precise, industry leading, and seamless benefits and payroll experience. This role will manage the team responsible for configuration, maintenance, and support of various technology systems, including modules of the HRIS system currently leveraged by Chick-fil-A, Workday, as well as our timekeeping system, NovaTime, used by our vertical business lines. As we work with many areas of the business, this role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to listen attentively, and the capability to influence on a number of different topics. While keeping the systems we steward healthy and running is primary, this individual will need to be forward thinking, identifying areas of opportunity for improvement and change.

Responsibilities

* Lead the team responsible for the Workday modules that support Timekeeping & Absence, Payroll, and Benefits, as well as timeclock support for Chick-fil-A's vertical business lines (VBL's)
* Represent the BPMS perspective in setting direction for timekeeping for VBL's, which includes leading the RFP process for the selection of an alternate timekeeping solution tailored to their needs
* Develop and maintain the long-term strategy and roadmap for Workday Timekeeping & Absence, Payroll, and Benefits, and be able to communicate this clearly to others
* Represent BPMS with Workday leadership during future phases of Workday implementations
* Understand the nature and urgency of work being requested of the team, collaborating with business owners to prioritize accordingly and in alignment with Chick-fil-A's overall business objectives
* Possess the ability to understand complex business problems, and work with stakeholders to develop appropriately tailored solutions
* Manage work-load and resource capacity, while developing methods to scale and meet the demands of our growing business, including evaluating and selecting vendors to assist in gap areas
* Lead & participate on cross functional teams with partners across the business, including but not limited to Talent Systems, DTT, Legal, Tax, and the Family Office
* Responsible for planning and budgeting for current and future years
* Mange vendors and outsourced partners to ensure they understand priorities and are providing deliverables as expected, and measure performance metrics where applicable.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and identify areas of opportunity to develop and innovate

Minimum Qualifications

* 8+ years work experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Experience with various modules of HRIS systems, with Workday experience preferred
* Experience in working with system end users and delivering on requests
* Proven ability to influence in difficult situations
* Excellent organization and planning skills
* Problem solving capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Workday, including understanding of the Payroll, Timekeeping & Absence, and Benefits modules specifically
* Experience in evaluating and selecting vendors for various business needs
* Strong experience in managing large vendors
