PIC consultants benefit from training programs and a global family of seasoned professionals united under a common goal to go beyond the job description each and every day.Title: Senior Recruiter/Staffing SpecialistPosition Type: ContractLocation: Anywhere in the USPosition Summary:Overall responsibility for staffing qualified personnel based on PIC predefined process. Position is accountable for maintaining contact with all qualified consultants to ensure resource levels are maintained. Position has responsibility to ensure that each consultant meets PIC standards by following pre-approved screening and qualification methods. Position reviews desired discipline categories and ensures candidates are qualified to be placed within each category. Position educates energy and power marketplace on the benefits of working for PIC, and suggests retention tools for consultants.Responsibilities:General:

  • Completes job requirements based on predefined recruiting and staffing process.
  • Adheres to PIC's standard operating procedures.
  • Educates power and energy marketplace on benefits of working for PIC.
  • Recruiting
  • Continuously seeks referrals to proactively increase candidate resource levels.
  • Investigates and implements new recruiting tools and referral sources to increase PIC qualified candidate pool.
  • Supports target recruiting goals by utilizing PIC approved methods.
  • Follows PIC screening procedures to ensure that candidates are properly qualified.
  • Resource Management
  • Maintains contact with candidates and active consultants.
  • Builds rapport with consultants through on-going communication.
  • Maintains consultants' records and ensures up to date and accurate information.
  • Reports on consultant availability and status based on information gathered.
  • Identifies and reports to management on resource shortfalls and subsequent recruiting needs.
  • Maintain metrics related to the resource management function.Staffing:
    • Identifies appropriate consultants for positions and projects based on PIC approved process.
    • Utilizes search methods to locate the best candidate for open Staffing Requests.
    • Assures that all open, approved positions are posted appropriately and closed when positions are filled.
    • Works with Business Leaders to maintain staff forecasting for PIC project staffing needs.
    • Provides Business Leaders with listing of new available candidates.
    • Participates with management in staffing reviews to determine course of recruiting efforts.
    • Maintain metrics related to the staffing function.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.       • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Minimum of three (3) years of direct recruiting experience in a technical market, preferably the power or oil and gas markets. Language Skills:
        • Ability to read, analyzes, communicate and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
        • Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and assist in producing procedure manuals. Must have the ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public and support corporate teams with brainstorming efforts to enhance corporate programs.Computer Skills:
          • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have extensive knowledge of software programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), applicant tracking systems, database software, web applications and other software skills are required on a regular basis.We are proud to offer competitive wages and benefits.
