Cherokee is looking for a Bartender that ensures that all Cherokee members and guests are received immediately and courteously upon arrival and ensures that all members and guests of the Club receive proper, attentive, courteous, and expedient service in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Job Summary (Essential Functions) The main role of the bartender is to ensure that all members and guests of Cherokee receive proper, attentive, courteous, and expedient service in a clean and pleasant atmosphere. We are looking for a motivated individual who will exceed expectations with a winning personality! Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations Responsible for opening/closing duties for shift worked Anticipate members needs Responsible for greeting members and guests as they arrive Positive attitude Strong attention to detail Skills/ Tasks -Familiarize yourself with menu and daily specials -Take food and beverage orders, suggest/inform members and guests about dinner/dessert/wine selections -Have a good understanding of P.O.S. (Point of Sale) system -Be able to serve and remove dishes using the proper service methods as instructed -Serve beverages using the proper service methods as instructed -Serve wine using the proper service methods as instructed -Provide excellent service to all members and guests and immediately correct any deficiencies -Anticipate member needs -Greet the member by name -Opening and Closing Bar responsibilities include set up and break down Required Qualifications -High School diploma or equivalent -Previous experience in similar role -Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays Reports to: Terrace level manager Classification: Non-exempt $12.50 hourly- No tips Benefits for joining our team: -Free meals while on duty -Free parking -Work uniform -Employee Golf available on most Mondays -Employee Recognition opportunities -Employee Appreciation Events We participate in Everify.
