Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, excellent local dining, and convenient proximity to Atlanta while advancing your career in a positive healthcare setting. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,810/n - Location: Canton, GA 30115/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks/n - Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week/n - Employment Type: Travel Contract – travel radiation therapy job/n - Urgent Need: Immediate start available/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Minimum 2 years of experience in radiation therapy or radiation oncology as a Radiation Therapy Tech / Radiation Therapy Technologist/n - Valid Radiation Therapy Tech certification (ARRT registry or state RT license preferred as applicable)/n - Active AHA BLS certification/n - Ability to work on-site in Canton, GA (zip 30115)/n - Travel candidates only (no local candidates within 50 miles)/n /n/nKey Skills and Preferred Experience/n /n - Hands-on operation of linear accelerators (LINAC) and experience with IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT techniques/n - Strong radiation safety practices and accurate treatment documentation/n - Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary oncology teams/n - Excellent patient communication and compassionate care for oncology patients and families/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients following physician prescriptions/n - Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently, including LINAC systems/n - Perform patient setup, imaging verification, and treatment delivery with attention to accuracy and safety/n - Document patient care, treatment parameters, and daily chart checks accurately in the oncology record/n - Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout the treatment process/n /n/n This is an excellent travel radiation therapy job opportunity for experienced Radiation Therapy Technologists seeking to advance their careers in a welcoming healthcare environment in Canton, GA.
