be considered. A Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating
Room is needed for a contract position in Atlanta, GA. This role
involves proactive participation within an interdisciplinary team
to deliver individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care.
Functioning under a structured governance and professional practice
model, the nurse will ensure exemplary practice and outcomes, team
collaboration, professional development, and adherence to
evidence-based standards. Key Responsibilities: Execute
comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis,
planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care tailored
to patient-specific needs. Deliver patient-centered care with
attention to cultural diversity and population-specific
characteristics. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary
teams, ensuring clear communication, safe documentation practices,
and a respectful, inclusive environment. Engage in continuous
professional development, mentorship of nursing staff, and
participation in performance improvement and research. Support
efficient use of resources and contribute to protocol development
aimed at optimized patient outcomes. Comply with all policies,
standards, and legal requirements governing nursing practice.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required;
Bachelors degree preferred. Current RN license valid in the state
or multi-state compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Minimum of five
years experience in Operating Room nursing. Strong proficiency in
at least two of the following specialties: Neurology, Orthopedics,
Vascular. Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time
management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and
respond decisively in emergencies. Schedule: Day shift: 11:00 AM
11:30 PM. Call requirements average 2832 hours in a 4-week period,
not to exceed 40 hours. Location Overview:Atlanta, Georgia, offers
