Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the perioperative setting. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to diverse patient populations. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams using various inclusive communication methods and documentation practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance to promote patient safety and nursing excellence. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development among nursing staff and students. Support resource optimization and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes and reduce avoidable events. Uphold all applicable healthcare policies, legal standards, and accreditation requirements. Qualifications: Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BSN strongly preferred) from an accredited program. Registered Nurse licensure (Single State or Multi-state Compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire. 3 years of operating room circulating nurse experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, critical thinking, and proficiency with technology in clinical care. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond proficiently to emergencies.
