ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work every other weekend with no call requirements • Float within facility/scope of practice as needed • Provide pre and post recovery care for Radiology and Interventional Radiology department including Ultrasound and CT • Care for patients with diagnoses including CKD, post organ transplant, radiation, oncology, and chronic hepatic/biliary disease • Maintain 3:1 patient ratio during day shifts • Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Work in 11-bed unit with daily census of 14 patients • Required skills include Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, central line care/management, IV management, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and PCA pump management • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Epic charting system experience required • 2 years of nursing experience required, unit accepts first-time travelers • Previous charge experience preferred • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Holiday work required based on assignment period - if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, must work all holidays; if three fall during assignment, must work two of the three • Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule Facility: This major healthcare facility operates a specialized PACU unit supporting radiology and interventional radiology services.
