Job Description:
Georgia Hospice Care (GHC) seeks a compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurse (RN) dedicated to providing patient-centered,
end-of-life care. This position demands excellent nursing skills, a
patient-first attitude, and a commitment to the comfort and dignity
of our patients and their families. Our RNs serve an integral role
in implementing effective care plans and engaging with a
multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for our
patients who are going through critical times. Assess patient
health problems and needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain
accurate medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured,
convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health
maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to share
expertise and knowledge. Doing patient rounds, providing timely
medication, and monitoring vital signs. Supporting patient and
family's emotional and spiritual needs. Maintaining safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations, and by calling for assistance from other healthcare
professionals when needed. Advanced nursing skills with strong
clinical reasoning. Ability to provide physical and emotional
support to patients and their families. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficiency in managing multiple priorities
under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Georgia is mandatory. Certified Hospice and
Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
