to find a qualified Home Health RN in Kennesaw, Georgia, 30144! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience:
Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year
of Hospice experience, depending on the specialty. License: Must
have a valid nursing license. Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have:
Proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS. Description: Provides,
coordinates, and directs home nursing care according to physician
orders. Care is based on agency policies and procedures through the
competent application of the nursing process. Responsible for
supervision and evaluation of Home Health Aides and Licensed
Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Must have reliable
transportation and a current driver's license. Must maintain
agency-required liability insurance. Home visits and periodic
office meetings are required. Average patient load is 5-10 patients
per day, equating to approximately 6-8 points per day. Contractor
will need to meet a weekly productivity expectation of 30 points.
Types of cases include start of care, wound care, and follow-up
visits. Must be open to traveling up to 75 miles for patient
visits. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. Local
candidates are accepted at the same rate. On-call requirements vary
by location and may involve rotating on-call shifts. Must be
willing to accept all scheduled patients regardless of distance.
All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the
appointment. No guaranteed hours with this contract. If patient
census is low, the contractor may be floated to another clinic to
pick up hours. All travelers must have recent experience with
