working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus,
Georgia, 31901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Post Cath with interventions Chest pain Unstable Angina Irregular
Heart Rhythms with medication drips Acute Coronary Syndrome Sepsis
Syncope Acute Kidney Injury Pneumonia Respiratory Distress with
Bipap Seizures Pulmonary embolism Hypertension Small Bowel
obstruction Lower GI Bleed Intermediate Care Unit/PCU/Stepdown:
Decompensated Heart Failure on medication drips Diabetic
Ketoacidosis on Insulin drips AFIB with Rapid Ventricular Response
Septic patients requiring low dose medication drips Thoracic
patients with chest tubes Cerebrovascular Accidents Fresh
Tracheostomies Gunshot Wounds/Motor Vehicle Crashes
Gastrointestinal Bleeds requiring multiple units of blood
Hypertensive Emergency requiring medication drips Occasional
Pregnant patients requiring telemetry Acute Encephalopathy, some
due to substance abuse requiring sedation drips Other drips include
Dopamine, Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix, Milrinone,
and Labetolol. All medication drips are titrated according to
protocols. Day patient ratios: 6/4 Night patient ratios: 6/4
Intermediate Care Unit staffing ratios: 1:3/4 (depends on
medication drips) Patients requiring off-unit tests require the
nurse to accompany them with a portable monitor. Interdisciplinary
Support includes: IV Teams Physical Therapy Respiratory Services
Interpretation Services Phlebotomy Radiology Social Services Rapid
Response Teams Pharmacy Transportation Unit Secretary Main
diagnoses include a variety of cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, and
gastrointestinal conditions. Special equipment includes bedside
monitors, portable monitors, and crash carts. Compliance: Full
compliance required to start on time. Must have valid license prior
to submission. References from supervisory personnel are preferred.
Availability for major holidays is expected, and requests for time
