This contract position in Bridgeport, WV, spans 13 weeks, providing a chance to enhance clinical skills across general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and cataract procedures. Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Operate and assist with Olympus Endoscopy and Stryker laparoscopy equipment. Collaborate with orthopedic partners using Zimmer and Arthrex technology. Utilize Cerner as the electronic medical records system for documentation. Participate in on-call rotations, providing support to PACU as needed. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license with verified operating room experience. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Certifications in BLS and ACLS required. Ability to work a consistent day shift schedule and commit to on-call duties. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple surgical specialties. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM. On-call shifts from 3 PM to 7 AM weekdays and starting Friday afternoon through Monday morning on weekends.
