Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 6 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler seeks a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with experience in OR, emergency, and trauma imaging for a multidisciplinary hospital setting. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital X-ray department, covering general X-ray, OR, ED, inpatient, and portable imaging cases - Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and neonates - 8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Primary assignment to a department each day, with an expectation to float if needed - Uses radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment by GE, Phillips, and CareStream - Documents in Epic and Sectra EMR systems, with experience preferred - Duties include operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and evaluating images for technical quality - Responsible for supporting students with competency check offs - May work with students and support education within the department - No on-call required for this assignment - Expected to float within scope as needed /n /n Requirements/n - Current BLS and ARRT certification required - Graduation from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program required - At least 1 year of level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility required - Experience working in OR as well as general X-ray required - Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging required - License required if applicable /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-666517.
