Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of nursing experience. Responsibilities - Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital - Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts - Patient population includes post-surgical adults recovering from anesthesia - No on-call responsibilities - Provide care and monitoring to patients post-anesthesia in a fast-paced environment - Strict rules for requested time off: maximum of 5 days if not near a holiday, 3 days if near a holiday, and only one holiday request is allowed - Several days of time off during the holidays will not be approved; requests must be spread out - Returning travelers should note specific eligibility requirements Requirements - Active GA or compact RN license in hand - Minimum of 18 months RN experience required - Must live more than 50 miles from the facility as local candidates are not permitted - Former staff must have been separated for 1 year from the health system and 18 months from the facility to be eligible Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-644619.
