Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Athens, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 years License: Required to work as an RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: BLS/ACLS Critical thinking Description: The ICU department is proud to offer a full range of services to meet the healthcare needs of our community members. The facility provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facility. The ICU currently has 5 beds and will soon open a 10-bed ICU. Patient ratios are 2-3 patients per nurse. Common diagnoses treated include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric conditions. All travelers must have the required certifications prior to the start of assignment. All clinical staff on assignment must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the start date. The ideal candidate should be able to get along with others as teamwork is essential. Dress code requires scrubs in any color, with no casual wear permitted.
