The position requires caring for adult and geriatric patients. The unit currently has 5 beds with plans to expand to a 10-bed ICU. The typical patient ratio is 2-3 patients per nurse. Common diagnoses include DKA, CVA, CP, post-surgical cases, electrolyte imbalances, overdose, and psychiatric issues. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills. Teamwork is crucial, as we foster a close-knit work environment. All clinical staff must meet state certification requirements. Dress code is scrubs, acceptable colors are any.
