Job Description Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Intermediate Care for a nursing job in Douglasville, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Intermediate Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: Ongoing - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Staff Charge Nurse (RN) – Acute Care (Cardiac Telemetry / IMCU) Full-Time | Day Shift Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee daily unit operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care - Perform charge nurse duties including patient assignments, staffing coordination, and unit flow management - Provide direct patient care with a modified assignment as needed - Conduct daily patient rounds to assess quality, safety, and appropriateness of care - Support and oversee the nursing process using evidence-based practice - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes - Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model for nursing staff - Support staffing needs, resource utilization, and survey readiness - Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance standards Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: - Active RN license (State or Compact) - Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) - Recent acute care RN experience required - Cardiac telemetry and/or IMCU experience preferred - Prior charge nurse or leadership experience preferred - BLS required; ACLS required or obtainable upon hire - Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills - Excellent communication, delegation, and team leadership skills - Ability to work full-time day shifts in an acute care environment Comprehensive Benefits Package:/n/nHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance/n/n404(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match/n/nPaid Time Off (PTO) and Holiday Pay/n/nSign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance for eligible positions About Pyramid Consulting Supercharge your career with Pyramid Consulting.
