Revolution Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Stockbridge, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Stockbridge, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, no call required. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract. Highlights: 34-bed Medical-Surgical unit with an average daily census of 27 patients 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts Diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics with diagnoses ranging from acute surgical conditions to chronic disease management Experience with specialized equipment including NGTs, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound vacs Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of submission Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; ACLS preferred Experience with 1:6 patient ratios Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Willingness to float within the facility as needed Availability to work major holidays as required by assignment length Full compliance documentation required by the Tuesday prior to start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This Medical-Surgical position offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population in a supportive, well-resourced environment.
