Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel Operating Room RN – 660A Surgery Hospital Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 Unit: 660A Surgery – Ground Floor Position Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks) Schedule: 12-hour Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team on a 13-week travel assignment. This position requires expertise across a wide range of surgical specialties and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced OR environment. Unit Overview - Specialty: Operating Room – Ground Floor Surgery - Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) - Contract Length: 13 weeks (January 19, 2026 – April 18, 2026) - Holiday Requirements: Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve) - Local Radius Rule: No local candidates within 50 miles Key Responsibilities - Provide perioperative nursing care across diverse surgical specialties. - Support procedures including robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics, gynecology, and general surgery. - Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care. - Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and documentation requirements. Required Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. - Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. - Demonstrated expertise in multiple surgical specialties including robotics, neuro, ortho, plastics, and gyn. - Flexibility to meet holiday scheduling expectations.
