Performs routine histological activities of receiving, preparing, and processing surgical specimens for patients. REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education Current HT/HTL Certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) One (1) year experience as a Histology Tech. All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test. PREFERRED Immuno chemistry experience and/or training. Bachelor's degree in science, plus successful completion of a formal histology tech program Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.
