Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a night shift role in a large Level 1 trauma setting requiring neuro and trauma skills. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Operating Room (OR) setting - 21 main ORs and 6 ambulatory ORs with potential to float between rooms - Responsible for a variety of surgical cases including neuro/crani, trauma, ortho-trauma, spine, general, vascular, ENT, GYN, and GU/cyst procedures - Night shift schedule from 6:45pm to 7:15am, weekdays only - No call or weekend shifts required - Holiday shifts are required - Two-week repeating schedule of weekday nights; no block scheduling - Responsible for supporting a wide range of high-acuity surgical procedures - Must be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary trauma OR team - Holiday coverage is mandatory within the contract period - First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Requirements - Active GA or Compact RN license required - Minimum 3 years of OR experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility - Prior travel experience in a similar setting required - Strong skills in neuro/crani procedures (including Burr hole), trauma, ortho-trauma, spine, general (open belly), vascular, ENT, GYN, and GU/cyst - High proficiency ratings on all areas of the OR skills checklist - Must be able to float between main and ambulatory OR rooms Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627620.
