This role includes performing preadmission testing, preoperative, or postoperative care based on departmental needs, training, competence, and skill. Additionally, this position encompasses the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities. The Registered Nurse is tasked with supervising and responsibly directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel, employing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. This position requires flexibility in scheduling on an as-needed basis (PRN) to meet the operational needs of the department. Practice is conducted within the guidelines of the State, facility, and regulatory frameworks.
