Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) night shift position requiring a GA or compact license and advanced cardiac experience. Responsibilities - Work in a Cardiovascular/Thoracic ICU in a hospital setting - Night shift, 12-hour shifts - Caring for cardiovascular and thoracic critical care patient population - Assignment is 13 weeks in length - No on-call responsibilities - Provide specialized care for adult patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures - Team-based environment with strong support for cardiovascular critical care - Strict RTO policy: maximum of 5 days off if not around holidays, maximum of 3 days if near holidays, and only 1 holiday request allowed - Multiple days off during holiday periods will not be approved unless spread out - Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must meet separation requirements before eligibility Requirements - Active GA or compact RN license in hand - Minimum of 2 years recent CVICU nursing experience required - Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates allowed - Returning travelers must be separated from prior employment with the health system for at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617332.
