Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU
(CVICU) position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least
18 months of recent CVICU experience. Responsibilities - Work in
the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
setting - Day shift, 12-hour AM shifts - Cares for patients
undergoing complex cardiac and vascular procedures - Assignment is
13 weeks in duration - No on-call requirements - Must adhere to
strict rules regarding time off (RTO), with a maximum of 5 days
unless near a holiday, in which case the maximum is 3 days - Only
one holiday request is permitted during the assignment - Returning
travelers must provide the last five digits of their SSN for
consideration - No references required for consideration -
Assignment requires management of high-acuity cardiac patients and
coordination with a multidisciplinary team Requirements - Active GA
or compact RN license required - Minimum of 18 months of full-time,
recent CVICU experience within the last 3 years - Strong experience
in cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular
techniques - Must meet all clinical competency requirements for
high-acuity CVICU setting - Candidates must live more than 50 miles
from the facility; no local candidates allowed - Former permanent
staff must be separated for 1 year, or 18 months if returning to
