Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience:
18 months License: GA or compact license in hand Certifications:
BLS Must-Have: Experience with craniotomy, chest tubes, lumbar
drains, TURP/TURB with continuous bladder irrigation, titration of
drips, and A-Line. Description: Candidates must have 18 months of
experience in PACU. A valid GA or compact nursing license is
required. BLS certification is mandatory. Candidates should have
experience with craniotomy. Experience with chest tubes is
necessary. Lumbar drain experience is required. Candidates should
have experience with TURP/TURB with continuous bladder irrigation.
Knowledge of titration of drips is essential. Experience with
A-Line is a must. PACU RNs may take an ICU patient in PACU until a
bed is available. All other skills pertinent to PACU are also
required.
